Sophia has always had a passion for the arts and loves her career as a makeup artist dearly. One of Sophia's favorite aspects of her job is the clientele. She loves working with them and helping them to feel like the most beautiful version of themselves. Sophia is continually inspired by her clients and the creative collaborators she works alongside.
Sophia started her professional career in Makeup and Hair at age 15 and started retail in 2007, working for Mac, Armani, Yves Saint Laurent, and Chanel. Sophia received her cosmetology license for hair in 2010 and is currently working as a freelance artist. She has had several celebrity clients including Taylor Hill, Robin Thicke, Kathy Griffin, and Gwen Stefani. One of the highlights in her career was when she worked on Kendrick Lamar for a music video with 50 Cent. With a fine attention to detail, artistic ability comes natural to Sophia. She loves her chosen career path and it clearly shows in her work.

* At SF Studio or artist’s SF location. On location or within 20 miles of SF will incur an additional $85 travel fee. Parking fees if any, are additional.
(Please note: Engagement makeup & hair sessions should not be used as your wedding trial unless you want your engagement and wedding photos to have the exact same makeup and hair styling. The majority of brides want a more casual style for their engagement photos.

Please note: For large bridal parties competent assistants may be hired. Bookings are on a 1st come, 1st served basis. Wedding dates are not reserved until a 50% deposit and signed contract are received. Reserving your wedding date early is recommended since Maria Lee Make-up & Hair gets booked quickly. Please contact Maria for availability. Cash, PayPal, and all credit cards are accepted. Any gratuity is preferred in cash.
