HAIR AND MAKEUP ARTIST SERVICES
  

• Thank you to all of our amazing 2025 Halloween clients. We appreciate you!

• Makeup starts at $250 for up to an hour to an hour and a half of work. Hair and makeup start at $365. Any job requiring special effects prosthetics or extremely detailed work may be estimated at a higher price at $200/hr and based on artist availability. (The Mask makeup as shown in pics required 4 prosthetics including a bald cap, brow covers, forehead prosthetic and jawline prosthetic + a paint job application which takes 3-4 hours. Labor cost for something like this would cost around $650 + $125 supplies.

• Dia de Los Muertos skull makeups take about 1.5 hours for more basic makeup and up to 2.5-3 hours for very detailed work.

• MAKEUP PRODUCTS WE USE: We use professional rub-resistant face paints or water resistant alcohol based / airbrush makeup if it makes sense for your event. Our makeup generally stays on extremely well and you may only need to reapply lip products if necessary. As long as you are not sweating profusely, we have had many clients tell us that our makeup stays on ALL DAY AND NIGHT! Please describe the setting of your event for best results. If you anticipate being in an extremely hot environment, please let us know.

• ON 10/24 and 10/31, our busiest days of the year…, our makeup appts are booked back to back, so you might need to wait while we finish and clean up upon your arrival. If you need to be at your event at a certain time and cannot be late, please book an earlier appt and try not to book too close to your desired arrival time of your event.

• Please do not bring other people to your appointment without permission if they are not receiving a service. We may not have the space for them!

• On location appointments may be limited based on artist availability and subject to a premium on location fee. + valet parking charged to hotel room if applicable.

HOW BOOKING WORKS:

• FOR AN ESTIMATE and to check artist availability, fill out the form below. Please include links of the look that you want in the text box. You may also attach pics in a separate email to maria@marialeemakeup.com.

A current photo of yourself must be sent in addition to example photos of desired look. Subject of email with photos should include location (SF or LA), date and requested timeframe in following format: SF l 10/31 l 2-5pm

If links or pics are not sent, an estimate cannot be completed. If an artist is available, an estimate will be sent and if you approve it, you’ll be prompted to send a non-refundable retainer. We look forward to bringing your vision to life!

• Service appointments are first come first serve with a 50% non-refundable retainer to book and balance due at least one week prior to the service date for Halloween appointments.
