Jen has always had a passion and love for beauty. When she was young she used to spend much of her time in her grandma and aunt’s salon. At 15 she started working in the local salon shampooing clients’ hair. She continued to work in many salons in the northern Virginia/ D.C. area then pursued her degree in fashion which led her to the Bay Area in the year 2000. She earned her BFA in fashion merchandising in 2002 then earned her cosmetology license in 2005. While in school she worked part -time for well known retail cosmetic companies such as Bobbi Brown, Estée Lauder, and Becca to gain hands on makeup experience. She learned the necessary skills to use and apply makeup properly. Jen specializes in haircutting & color and also continues to enjoy styling hair & makeup for weddings and formal events. Not only is she available for on location makeup and hair but also for haircuts & single process color for clients who would like to relax in the comfort of their own home. Jen’s warm personality and great eye for makeup & hair design attracts many regular clients who want to continue to look and feel their very best.
Jen has moved to Sacramento and in SF once a week to see clients. She has a 4 service minimum to travel from Sac to SF on days she isn’t already going to be in SF for her own personal clients. * At SF Studio or artist’s SF location. On location or within 20 miles of SF will incur an additional $85 travel fee. Parking fees if any, are additional.
(Please note: Engagement makeup & hair sessions should not be used as your wedding trial unless you want your engagement and wedding photos to have the exact same makeup and hair styling. The majority of brides want a more casual style for their engagement photos.
BRIDAL INVESTMENT (WEEKENDS)

Please note: For large bridal parties competent assistants may be hired. Bookings are on a 1st come, 1st served basis. Wedding dates are not reserved until a 50% deposit and signed contract are received. Reserving your wedding date early is recommended since Maria Lee Make-up & Hair gets booked quickly. Please contact Maria for availability. Cash, PayPal, and all credit cards are accepted. Any gratuity is preferred in cash.
